Products are not syncing correctly with Shopify products. I have to update both lists. When I update products on google shop products it won't save.
Es ist nicht möglich ein bestehendes Merchant Konto zu verbinden. Lediglich wenn man über die App ein neues Merchant Konto erstellt funktioniert es. Vom Support keine Antwort erhalten.
Hi -- Thank you for your feedback. You should be able to connect an existing Merchant Center Account as long as you have admin access to that Merchant Center account and it is the same google user account you are using on step 1 of this app. I've reached out to you privately over email to try to help you resolve this issue.
It seems that this app doesn't send barcode(gtin) to merchant center. They only send brand and MPN, but some products required Barcode, and this app doesn't send it to merchant center. Really useless.
It would work as expected if the developers had taken the time to give the user the choice on what variants to feed to google merchant or not. The app is feeding all the variants per product which I do not want. The most expensive variant shows at the top on google shopping and make my products look more expensive than the competitors'. The less expensive variants do not rank as high. I am expending money on a campaign and this app can not even give me the choice to pick what variants to advertise or not. I get many impressions in google but a few clicks and no purchases. This is lack of vision is costing me money. I may unistall this app un less they fix this ASAP. Seems like an obvious problem.

Product Approval: More than 10 business days, I'm at about 17 business days with only "Pending" for 125 products.
Campaign Mystery: In anticipation of pending product approval, I set up a simple campaign to begin in January. I did make a mistake, I inadvertantly clicked Start Campaign, but I'm glad I did as it raised more questions.
Mystery Campaign: Somehow, with no products, a campaign I couldn't see began. Days later, with no noticeable change in traffic, I have a report claiming to have caused impressions, even 5 Add to Cart, but no corresponding sales activity and --no abandoned carts!-- Alert!!
So I stopped the "campaign" but there is no way to truly stop it, it reflects as "paused" no matter what you do, including "cancel"
So it asked for feedback, and I provided, but there was no submit button or dialogue box on the feedback form, the only thing you could do was click the X in the upper right hand corner, which typically means cancel & submits no information. It's all there was, so to be rid of it I clicked it, and it tried to sell me feedback forms....
To date this app is EXTREMELY questionable. I'll uninstall it soon if there are no product approvals, and the campaign report I had did not reflect reality. To report that I had visitors adding to cart because of the app, but no sales or abandoned carts is unsettling.
If you want any success with your store, you need to have it appear in Google, but with this app it is almost impossible. Between the strict standards on Google Merchant Center and the way Shopify does NOT intuitively help you set up your products and store to meet those strict standards, your store will likely never be approved for use on Google. I have had to spend hundreds of hours researching ways to make it work on my own, and even though my store appears to meet all of Google's requirements, I am still not approved. I feel Shopify should work more closely with Google to create an app that is more likely to get their shop approved, as this will ultimately benefit Shopify. I plan to continue my own research to try to get my shop working with Google Merchant Center, but I shouldn't have to. When you reach out to either Shopify or Google, all you get are canned responses with regurgitated policy references and no actual help.

Same errors, loads of them. After using the template. I have gone back into my product page to ensure better integration. Yet still, errors. Its taking too long to set up and a zillion other things to do... Wish I could get some help!

This app creates a feed automatically and link it to your merchant center. However, it's a feed you have 0 control over and this will affect performance and tracking. I appreciate when the support replied to me, but their only suggestion was to add another app to download the feed (at the cost of 20$ a month). What's the point? Fortunately, I found Feed Donkey which does the job very well.

This app doesn't let you push the required Variants info to the merchant center.
- The app appends the Product name + Variants options in the title attribute for content API by default
- The "color" field is disabled in the Bulk edit page for variants.
- "Custom labels" are disabled in the Buld edit page for variants.
- ***missing Feed attributes*** on the Content API prevent you from fixing the issues aftermath using Feed Rules.
I would love to see google to atleast offer all the required listing fields to shopify users.

Looks easy to install, I've setup Google Merchant Account successfully. But my products have not been approved.
This is the message I'm getting "Google is reviewing your Merchant Center account. Your product will be re-reviewed once your account is approved." No clarity at all.
How can I resolve this issue so my products are Approved by Google Shopping? Do I need to wait or what?

This is a great question! That notice is letting you know that your Google Merchant Center account is still within the review period with Google and that once that review is complete, Google will review your products for approval! This process typically takes between 3 - 5 business days.
